- 1. Upload your statement of cover. Each benefit — dental, optical, physiotherapy, consultations, therapies — is read out of the document along with its annual allowance, percentage reimbursement rate and plan year dates. Plans with multiple levels of cover let you pick your tier.
- 2. Log claims as they happen. Record the invoice amount and the tracker works out what your plan should pay back at your percentage rate, capped at the allowance left for that benefit.
- 3. Follow the claim status. Planning, Pending Submission, Submitted, Approved, Paid or Rejected — so you can see money you've spent, money you're owed and money already recovered.

What Is A Health Cash Plan?
A health cash plan is a low-cost policy that pays back a set percentage of everyday healthcare costs — dentist visits, eye tests and glasses, physiotherapy, chiropody and similar treatments — up to an annual allowance for each benefit. Unlike private medical insurance, you pay the provider first and then claim the money back from your insurer.
Because every benefit has its own limit and reset date, unclaimed allowance is the most commonly wasted part of a cash plan. Tracking claims against each allowance is how you get the value you're paying for.
